If you ask most people what chiropractic is, chances are they will either start to rave about the miracles they have experienced or they will raise an eyebrow with skepticism. There certainly are many misconceptions about chiropractic care.
The fact is that chiropractic care is a non-invasive, drug free, holistic approach that allows the body to heal itself.
You as a whole
As in the medical profession, we follow a standard routine gathering case history information. We review your current health and your medical history. We conduct a thorough physical exam, including lab work and x-rays, if needed. Along with this routine, we expand our focus on the body's posture with regards to structure and alignment. As wellness professionals we realize that optimal care doesn’t stop there, this is why we also take into consideration your daily routines, eating habits, sleeping patterns, exercise routines and more.
The root of the problem
After a complete review of your case history a diagnosis is made of the possible causes for pain and discomfort. Getting to the root of the problem is our main objective. As we assess the potential problem areas we perform multiple tests that allow us to narrow the scope.
Removing the cause
Most health conditions stem from a combination of contributing factors. These typically include misalignments of the spinal vertebras, pinched nerves, physical exertions, emotional tension, chemical or electromagnetic exposure. We do not treat symptoms, we search for the cause and present an appropriate treatment plan to help eliminate the problem.
